【Abstract】 Chitosan(CS) was modified by propylene oxide to prepare O -(hydroxyl isopropyl)chitosan(HPCS). The preparation conditions were determined as follows: when CS was 2.5g, propylene oxide was 30mL, reaction time was 4h, reaction temperature was 60℃～70℃, the highest yield was reached. The intrinsic viscosity of HPCS is only 25mL·g -1 , and the solubility is 7g·(H 2O 100mL) -1 at 30℃.更多还原
