【Abstract】 The paper analyses the embankment on soft bed by finite element method, and through calculation and analysis it proposes that the use of geosynthertics can restrict the side distortion of soft earth, reduce the sedimentation and asymmetric sedimentation of embankment, and reduce the plastic areas obviously.
