我国苦丁茶冬青种质资源的形态学研究 Ⅰ.茎叶的形态学研究
STUDIES ON MORPHOLOGY OF THE GERMPLASM RESOURCES OF ILEX KUDINGCHAIN CHINA I. STUDY ON MORPHOLOGY OF STEM AND LEAF
【摘要】 新种苦丁茶冬青(IlexkudingchaC.J.Tseng)自1981年发表以来,有关它与若干近缘种的主要形态差异及其分类学地位等问题一直存在着争议.本文系统地介绍了苦丁茶冬青不同种质材料的茎叶形态学研究结果.作者在分析和总结近年野外考察和种质资源普查过程中所积累资料的基础上,对200余份从各个省区和居群中引种并定植于海南大学苦丁茶种质资源库中的苦丁茶冬青种质材料的茎叶进行了一次系统的形态学研究.其中茎的形态学研究内容包括主干形态,分枝与主茎的夹角,一年生茎或小枝的形态以及幼茎(嫩芽中)的形态;叶的形态学研究包括叶序,叶形,叶尖,叶基,叶缘,叶柄,脉序,百叶重,叶片长度、宽度以及叶片长/宽比值等内容;对茎、叶及嫩芽等器官表面的毛被情况亦作了系统的观察。揭示了苦丁茶冬青不同种质材料在茎叶形态上的一些共同特征和变异规律,发现了少数种质材料之部分分枝上存在对生叶,并发现了若干份介于I.kudingcha和I.pentagona之间的中间型种质材料。根据形态学研究结果(以及将另文报道的RAPD分析结果)判断,这些中间型种质材料很可能是I.kudingcha和I.pentagona天然的种间杂交后代。作者对苦丁茶冬青的毛被及其分类学意义,以及苦丁茶冬青与五棱苦丁茶之间最主要的形态差异等有争议的问题提出了新的意见.
【Abstract】 Since the publication of the new species in 1981,Ilex kudingchaC. J. Tseng ,there has been the contention on the most important morphological differences between the new species and its close relatives, and on their classifications. This paper, in a systematic way, deals with the morphological study results of the leaf asnd stem of the different germplasm materials of Ilex kudingcha. On the basis of the analysis and summary of the information accumulated in the field investigation and generalgermplasm resource survey in recent years, the authors have carried on a systematical morphological study of the stems and leaves for more than 200 germplasm resource materials imported from various population ofthedifferent provinces and autonomous regions of China, cultivated in The KudingchaGermplasm Resource Bank of Hainan University in Haikou City, Hainan Province, China. Of which the morphological study of stem involved the trunk shape, the angle between the main stem and the branch, the morphology of the annualstem (or branch), as well as, the morphology of young stem (in buds); and that of leaf involved the phyllotaxy, leaf shape,leaf apex,leaf base,leafmargin, petiole, venation, weight of 100 leaves, the length, width and length /width ratio of leaf,and so on. The trichomes on the surfaces of the stem,leaf and young bus were also systematically observed.Thecommon morphological characteristics and variationsof thevarious germplasm materials of I. kudingcha were revealed. The opposite leaveswerediscovered on partialbranches of a few of germplasm materials. Moreover, a few of intermediatetypedgermplasm materials, betweenI.kudingchaand I. pentagona, were discovered. Based on the morphologicalstudy (also on RAPDanalysis, will be reported in another paper), the authors deduced that these intermediate-typegermplasm materials may be the naturalinterspecific hybrid later generations ofI.kudingchaandI.pentagona (I. kudingcha × I. pentagona, or:I .pentagona× I. kudingcha).Some new views on the contentious problems, such as the trichome of I. kudingchaand its significance on taxonomy, and the principal morphological differences betweenI. kudingchaand I. pentagona, were put forwardin this paper.
