【Abstract】 The omni-directional social transition characterized by the establishment of the market economic system has brought about drastic changes to traditional concept of value and makes it urgent for us to remould our system of values. In our efforts to do so, we should base ourselves on our national conditions, study and properly handle the relations between’developing what is useful and discarding what is not and advancing gradually’, between’opposing the left and guarding against the right’, and between’Chinese and western’. To meet the needs of social development, we should establish a brand new system of values in which there is integration of collectivism and individual orientation, morality and material gains, efficiency and fairness, ethics and legality.更多还原
