Zr-B2O3-Mg体系自蔓延高温合成ZrB2陶瓷粉末

【摘要】 采用自蔓延高温合成(self propagatinghigh temperaturesynthesis,SHS)技术研究了ZrB2O3Mg体系反应原料的不同粒度和掺量对反应产物的影响规律,并制备了ZrB2陶瓷粉末。用XRD对材料的相组成进行了分析;精确的相组成由化学分析测定;燃烧温度由SHS研究装置测量;材料的显微结构由SEM观察。XRD分析和燃烧温度曲线表明:50μmZr粉和Mg过量15%(摩尔分数)的反应体系是最理想的反应体系。SEM分析表明:SHS产物晶粒粒径为2~5μm左右,而酸洗产物晶粒粒径为0.5~2μm左右。化学分析表明:酸洗产物中含有ZrB2(94.59%,质量分数,下同),ZrO2(3.87%),H3BO3(1.54%)。

【Abstract】 ZrB2 ceramic powder was prepared by self-propagating high-temperature synthesis (SHS). The effect rule of the granularities and additives of raw materials in ZrB2O3Mg system on the synthesized product by SHS was investigated. The phase constituent was analyzed by X-ray diffraction, and the precision phase constituent was determined by chemical analysis. Combustion temperature was determined in the SHS process. The microstructure of samples was observed by SEM, XRD. The combustion temperature curve indicates that the ideal reactants of ZrB2O3Mg system are Zr powder of 50 μm and excessive 15% (in mole) Mg powder. The particle sizes of SHS product are 2—5 μm and the particle sizes of acid-leached product are 0.5—2 μm according to the results observed by SEM. The chemical analysis shows that the leached product consists of ZrB2(94.59%,in mass,same below), ZrO2(3.87%) and H3BO3(1.54%).
