【Abstract】 The border between Guangxi and Vietnam extends as far 1 020 kilometers. It enjoys a unique geographical advantages for developing border trades, supplying each other goods, communicating with people of the same ancestry, and facilitating use of both currencies. All these advantages put together have promoted the growth of border trade between Guangxi and Vietnam. The Guangxi-Vietnam border trade has a very long history, starting from the ancient time, developing in modern time, and vigorously developing in contemporary time.
