【Abstract】 Research on urban land expansion is useful for the research and manage of the city. Taking Ma`anshan City as a case, the paper discussed the rules of urban expansion, the authors get the area of the city entity in different period with geographical information technologe; analyzed the process of urban expansion, from the study the authors find that the urban expansion is obviously directional and with different speed in the last tens years; Analyzed the factors that cause the expansion of the city, the economy development and population increase are the crucial factors, at the same time, the authors also analyzed he rest factors relative to urban expansion.更多还原
