【Abstract】 4,6-Di(tert-butyl)resorcinol was prepared from resorcinol and tert-butanol, followed by hydrogenation at 3Mpa, 150℃ for 10 hours in the presence of 5% Pd/C catalyst, giving 2-methyl-4,6-di(tert-butyl)resorcinol which was then debutylated in the presence of AlCl3 to give the title compound, the overall yield was 58.6% with a purity of 98.5%. m.p. 119-120.5 ℃.更多还原
