【Abstract】 The reason why the temperature of the heated air and the exit flue gas for the 125MW grade boiler deviated severely from the design value was discussed in this paper. The possible plans for the boiler retrofit to solve the problems were analysed. The plan for the retrofits of the tube-type and the rotary type air preheaters for Huang Dao Power Plant was mentioned.
