【Abstract】 This paper introduces the modified starch as a surface sizing agent, and it also points that high solid content in the starch solution can reduce evaporation energy requirement and increase the efficiency of the paper machine. However,some reduction in internal strength of the paper can also be observed. All these can be explained by decreased penetration at an increased starch solutions solid content.更多还原
