【Abstract】 Mori Kazak Autonomous County, Xinjiang, is located in the northern piedmont zone of east section of the Tianshan Mountains, there are many types of the desert vegetation, and the region is one of the main habitats of Lagurus lugurus. In this paper, a field investigation on the change of the population quantity of Lagurus lugurus was carried out in Mori Kazak Autonomous County, Xinjiang during the period from September 2000 to September 2001. The change trend of the population quantity of Lagurus lugurus in the study area is predicted in laboratory by using the Leslie matrix model. The results show that the predicted values accord well with the observed values if a survival coefficient is used in the model.更多还原
