【Abstract】 The weights evaluated by subjective weight evaluation methods are dependent upon the knowledge structures and favoritism of evaluators;Therefore they are of great subjectivity. To overcome such a disadvantage, an objective weight evaluation method,the grade scale-up method,is used to determine the weights when benchmarking of irrigation system performs. In the grade scale-up method,the observed data of indicators of evaluating objects are used to calculate the weights, and there is no factitious interferences during benchmarking. Hence the results are more practical, reliable and reasonable. A case study shows the proposed method is reliable and the results are rational. The results can provide recommendations for evaluating irrigation area management performances.更多还原
