【Abstract】 Introduced the characteristics of severe slugging,generating condition and destructive extent to the offshore field production,pointed out the distinctness between severe slugging and hydrodynamic slug.And the cyclic process of severe slugging was described.It not only summarized the development of experimental investigation about the methods to eliminate severe slugging in recent years,but also induced these eliminating methods which were suggested or used in experiments and production,especially gave emphasis to analyzing the principle,advantage and disadvantage of choking and gas lifting.更多还原
