【Abstract】 The aim of clearance of materials and release of sites contaminated with radioactive nuclides was expounded,then the identification and difference between clearance and exemption was compared,the foundation of dose limits and dose constraints as the base of clearance levels of materials and cleanup criterion of sites was introduced,the material clearance levels expressed in measurable values (including the surface contamination levels and activity concentrations) and site cleanup criterions (including the acceptable levels of radionuclide in soil and the limit for release rate of radon from soil surface) were discussed. Finally, the effects of irradiation scenarios,models and parameters to recommended values of derived levels and the necessity to pay attention to modifying the derived levels according to the specific condition were also emphasized.更多还原
