【Abstract】 An extremum developing method for an undevelopable surface is realized and applied to axial fan blades successfully. In essential,the extremum method is an optimum one for the developing error being minimum. Therefore compared with the traditional direct development,it has advantages of high accuracy,unique solution and uniform error distribution.
