【Abstract】 Two plasmids, pXZ10145.1 and pXZ10142, isolated from one strain of Corynebacterium glutamicum 1014 were analysed. Comparison between the pXZ10145.1 and pXZ10142 sequences showed that the plasmid pXZ10142 originated in the excision from the plasmid pXZ10145.1. The sequence of pXZ10145.1 revealed 6 open reading frames (ORFs). ORF1 encoding 247 amino acids encompassed the replication protein, which was proved by deletion analysis. A transposon-like structure Tn45 was implied from the DNA sequence of pXZ10145.1. It contained a CMR gene, a TNP gene, and two inverted repeat sequences IR1a and IR1b, which are located at the junction between (pXZ10145.1) and pXZ10142. The direct repeat sequences are ATCTAG flanking both inverted repeat sequences of IR1a and IR1b.更多还原
