【Abstract】 Through observation and survey in fixed site made on defoliators from Italian poplar in the whole farm, it was shown that there are 3 kinds of stem—border in Italian poplar: Apriona germari (Hope)、Batocera horsfielcli (Hope) and Anoplophora chinensis (Forster), survey and analysis on reason why severe occurrence of stem—border has been carried out, it comes with technical measures for integrated control of stem—border based on damage characteristic, egg—laying habit and occurrence rule of 2 main kinds of stem—borders i. e.
