【Abstract】 Fly ash gel was applied to successfully extinguish a large-area spontaneous combustion according to the characters of the overlying fire area and fire propagation in 402 fully mechanized face in Wuhushan Coal Mine, a gel-isolating zone was thus set up, this effectively stops the fire area to develop into the deep part of the gob and ensured the safe extraction in 402 fully mechanized face. The fire extinguishing technique with fly ash composite gel is simple in technology process and has low cost in materials and significant spread and application value for the control of coal seam spontaneous combustion in western region lack of water and clay.更多还原
