【Abstract】 Fingerprint image segmentation based on the contour, a significant technology in fingerprint image preprocessing, is proposed in this paper. There are two main steps. First, a segmentation algorithm based on the pixel is used to segment the non-ridge areas of the images. Then an improved algorithm of convex hull is presented to obtain the convex hull of the fingerprint contour. Experimental results show that this algorithm is feasible and robust.更多还原
