基于USB-ATA接口的海量存储器的设计与实现
Design of USB Mass-storage Based on USB-ATA Interface
【摘要】 介绍了一种基于通用可编程接口 (GPIF)的通用串行总线 高级技术配件 (USB ATA)解决方案 ,将普通硬盘转化为USBMass Storage ,采用Cypress公司的EZ USBFX2系列芯片。该设计采用CY7C6 80 1 3芯片的ATA接口 ,将普通硬盘转化为具有USB2 .0速度的海量存储器 ,其灵活的接口和可编程特性简化了外部硬件的设计 ,提高了系统的稳定性 ,也有利于印制板的制作和调试。USB设备的可热插拔特性使得该系统具有便携式的特点 ,使用方便 ,无需关机重启或打开机箱进行安装。该系统实现了可编程输入输出 (PIO)和超级直接存储器存取 (UDMA)两种模式 ,实际运行效果良好 ,达到USB2 .0的高速率传输要求。
【Abstract】 This paper describes a USB-ATA design scheme based on general programmable interface (GPIF). The design converts the ordinary hard disk into USB Mass Storage, using Cypress’s EZ USB FX2.The design of software and hardware are given in the text. The design uses the ATA interface of cy7c68013, converts the hard disk into USB2.0 Mass-Storage. The flexible interface and Programmable characteristic simplifies the design of hardware, improves the stability of the system, and is propitious to the manufacturing and debugging of the PCB. Besides, the on line in plug and playing of USB equipment make the system portable and easy to use, without restarting the computer. The system realizes two modes of PIO and UDMA. The running practice shows good effect and the high speed transmission of USB2.0 is achieved.
