多硫化钠-溴储能电池组

【摘要】 用8节单电池组装了多硫化钠-溴储能电池组,每对电极活性面积144cm。分别采用聚丙烯腈碳毡和泡沫镍为电池正负极材料,Pt/C为正极电催化剂,铂担量为0.8mg/cm2,以Nafion-117膜为隔膜,石墨板为双极板,电池组流体分配管道采用内置Z形设计。电池组工作温度为室温至100℃。电池组各节单电池性能均一,电池在50%充电状态温度为348K时,输出功率为520W(总电压7.224V),即单电池平均输出功率密度达到0.45W/cm2。

【Abstract】 Sodium polysulfide-bromine energy storage cell stack composed of 8 cells with active area of 144 cm2 was made.Polyarylonitrile graphite felt and foamed nickel were used as the positive and negative electrodes of sodium polysulfide-bromine cell respectively. The electro catalyst for the positive electrode was platinum supported on carbon powder and its loading was 0.8 mg/cm2. The positive and negative electrodes were separated by Nafion-117 membrane. Bipolar plates of the cell were graphite plates. The cell stack was designed with internal Z shape manifolds. Results show that the cell stack can be operated at temperature range from room temperature to 100 ℃. The performances of each single cell are almost uniform. The output power is up to 520 W when the state of charge of the cell is 50% and the temperature of cell is 348 K (Cell voltage is 7.224 V). The average power density of single cell reaches 0.45 W/cm2.
