中华古编钟的乐钟性质研究

【摘要】 基于圆柱形模型中弹性驻波的理论振型,结合椭圆形柱面的刚性和曲率分布特征,对古编钟的一钟双音和短延音等声学特性作出物理分析;基于对测试编钟(加长钟枚的编钟)进行的频谱实验研究,提出钟枚除了装饰作用外,还具有滤去高频、改善音质的作用.

【Abstract】 Based on the analysis of vibration pattern of round bell and the comparison between different curvature and hardness distribution of almond shaped bell and cup shaped bell, the acoustic characteristics of two-tone effect and the short sound lasting property of the famous ancient Chinese chime-bells are physically analyzed. In order to investigate the function of the so-called Meis, whch are nipple-like nubs on the bell surface, an almond shaped bell with much higher Meis than the originals was cast for testing. The Fourier frequency analysis of the sound of the bell with high Meis was performed step by step while the height of the Meis was reduced gradually by grind. The results show that the Meis were originally designed not only for decoration, but also, probably more essentially, for filtering out the partials of higher frequencies and for adjusting the audio tone quality.
