【Abstract】 Through the review and summary of 15 years’ development of the Special Collection in Peking University, this article explores the ways to develop the Special C ollection of a University (SCOU). It suggests that the mam goal of SCOU is to collect and compile books, articles and others academic materials written or made by the university scholars. The SCOU should be a window to promote the achievements of the university scholarship, as well as a place for the students Jo learn the university history.
