【摘要】 近几年多媒体业务应用取得了突飞猛进的发展,但如何建设电信级的公共视讯交换网,提供全国甚至全球的电信级可视通信服务,一直没有大规模组网的成功经验。中国联通自2001年开始历经两期工程的建设,使中国联通公共视讯交换网络成为目前世界上规模最大、覆盖最广的基于IP技术的公共视讯交换网络平台。经过2年来的商用运营,实践证明此建网思路可以满足电信运营商组建大规模商业运营网络的要求,可以灵活地向用户提供视讯、语音服务,是面向公众运营的多媒体通信业务的一次大规模成功实践,也是向NGN过渡的一次大规模成功实践。本文介绍了该工程的概况、网络结构、网络优势、技术创新,并着重介绍了为满足电信运营商大规模运营而进行的工程创新。更多还原

【Abstract】 After the two-phase construction, the public video switching network of China Unicom has become the largest IP technology based public video switching network platform with the widest coverage currently in the world. Through the comprehensive commercial operations for two years, it has been proved in practice that this project can satisfy the requirements of large scale commercial operations of telecom carriers, flexibly provide video and voice services for subscribers as well as being a large scale successful experiment of a multimedia communications network project towards public operations. This article presents in such aspects as project profile, network structure, network advantages and so on while paying special attention to the engineering innovation made for meeting the needs of large scale operations of telecom carriers.更多还原
