【摘要】 3D技术是当前GIS领域的研究热点之一,虚拟现实技术和三维仿真技术在地理信息系统中的应用使3DGIS的发展成为可能。三维专题信息可视化的研究是三维GIS的一个主要研究方向。文章着重分析了J语言的三维图形解决方案、Java3D语言的主要特性,并采用Java3D语言建立了一个包括三维地理底图和三维专题信息表示的实验系统,并对此进行了总结和展望。更多还原

【Abstract】 The technology of 3D is one of focuses at field of GIS research at the present. The application of VR and 3D technology in Geographic Information System makes the development of 3D GIS possible. The research of three-dimensional thematic information visualization is still a main research field of 3D GIS. The paper stresses out the character of Java3D, a new solution for 3D graph programming of Java and constructs prototype software, which includes the display of three-dimensional geographic base map and the visualization of three-dimensional thematic information.
