一种视频格式转换电路的设计与实现
Design and Implementation of a Video Format Conversion Circuit
【摘要】 提出了一种将普通PAL/NTSC制式电视信号转换为适用于点阵方式显示器件的SVGA(800×600)和XGA(1024×768)格式信号的电路设计方法。通过控制帧存储器的读出方式达到行数提升的效果,不需要使用大容量异步FIFO进行行数提升,通过使用小容量双端口RAM提升水平方向像素点数。插值方法主要采用运动自适应的场间/场内插值,基于双线性的方法。指出了该电路的进一步简化方案,并进行了基于FPGA的VLSI实现和验证。
【Abstract】 In this paper we pr opose a new method of converting conventional PAL/NTSC TV signal to SVGA and XG A for-mat.It is implemented by controlling the reading mode of the frame memor y to up convert the vertical scan lines.Then a small dual-port RAM is used to up convert the horizontal pixel numbers.The interpolation method is motion adap tive inter/in-tra-field and is mainly based on the bilinear method.Also a si mplified scheme of the proposed design is introduced.The de-sign is implemente d on FPGA and is verified to have good results.
