【摘要】 本文围绕银行成长这一核心 ,以部分股份制银行为考察对象 ,对 1999～ 2 0 0 3年期间我国中小银行成长现状、特征以及面临的机遇和挑战进行了分析 ,并提出了相应的对策建议。研究认为 ,中小银行成长具有“两不”、“两外”和“两小”的特点 ,具有这些特点的中小银行成长在新的银行竞争格局下面临新的挑战与机遇。要应对挑战、维持中小银行成长 ,就要在竞争策略、内部治理和政策扶持等方面加以改进更多还原

【Abstract】 Around the bank development, this article analyzes the growth, actuality, characters, opportunities and challenges of small and medium sized banks. And then, puts forward the corresponding countermeasures. The conclusion is that small and medium sized banks must improve their competitive strategy and internal governance in order to meet the challenges.
