【Abstract】 A series of earthquakes (Jingtai M_S 5.9 Earthquake series, there are totally 68 events), recorded by Digital Seismic Network in Gansu Province, are selected to calculate the apparent stress in this region. The authors give the time distribution of apparent stress. Furthermore, the average value of apparent stress is got, which is in accordance with the result got from Wu Zhongliang. The features of apparent stress change before and after the main shock are discussed. At the end, the relation between apparent stress and magnitude is obtained.更多还原
