【Abstract】 It is of great significance to teach culture in college English teaching, and the content of cultural education includes aspects: background information about different fields, related concepts and beliefs, and cultural connotations of words. Cultural teaching has to be related to the text, appropriate in amount, practical in value and natural in approach.
