【Abstract】 With the rapid development of biotechnology, Medicago sativa is not only used as very important （forage,） but also for other purposes including use as a plant bioreactor to produce vaccines, industrial （enzyme） preparations, and industrial degradable plastic. Also, research into some important medicinal proteins etc. has already made great progress.
