【摘要】 可持续发展已经成为许多国家的主要目标,但如何测度发展的可持续性却是一个世界性难题。加拿大生态经济学家William和Wackernagel提出的生态足迹分析法由于直观明了且易于操作而日益流行。通过介绍生态足迹的基本概念、内涵及其计算方法,摘录部分国家的生态足迹来说明当前世界发展的可持续性,结合部分专家的观点对生态足迹进行了客观的评价,最后介绍了目前一些国内外生态足迹的发展状况并对其做了进一步的展望。更多还原

【Abstract】 Sustainable development has become a primary objective for many countries throughout the world. However, it’s difficult to measure sustainability. The ecological footprint, which was developed by William and Wackernagel, Canadian economists, has become more and more popular for its easiness and convenience. The conception, connotation and calculation of the ecological footprint were introduced in this paper. The ecological footprints of some countries were used to explain the sustainability of world development nowadays.The advantages and disadvantages of this method were summarized based on some experts’ opinions. The progress and development trends of ecological footprint were introduced as well.更多还原
