【Abstract】 Wang Anyi is a writer with unique character and insight. Her recent short stories (Dancing Partner, In Her Own Room, Little Bride and Under the Low Clouds) focus on the life of females, which indicates her concern for women’s living conditions and her belief in the spiritual integration of the genders. Of her four stories, the first three express the inner desires of women through revealing their emotions; while the last one, with broader perspectives, suggests the possible spiritual integration of the two genders through their dialogues.更多还原
