TiC-TiB2复相陶瓷的氧化行为研究
Oxidation Behavior of TiC-TiB2 Multiphase ceramics
【摘要】 对自蔓延高温合成法制备的TiC-TiB2复相陶瓷的氧化行为及机理进行了研究.结果表明:在低于1000℃范围内,随氧化温度和时间的增加,氧化增重符合抛物线规律;在600℃时,TiB2首先被氧化成TiO2,在1000℃时TiB2、TiC均被氧化成TiO2,表面形成致密的TiO2氧化膜,阻止内部继续发生氧化,这表明该材料具有较好的高温抗氧化能力.
【Abstract】 The isothermal oxidation behavior and mechanisms of the TiC-TiB2 multiphase ceramics fabricated via a self-propagating high-temperature combustion synthesis route were studied. The result shows that the oxidation kinetics agrees to the parabolic rule within the temperature range of RT to 1 000 ℃. The oxidation was found to start at 600 ℃ with TiB2 being oxidized into TiO2. Both TiB2 and TiC were oxidized into TiO2 when temperature increased to 1 000 ℃. A compact TiO2 film, as the oxidation product, was formed on the sample surface, which prevented further oxidation and resulted in a very high oxidation resistance of the sample.
