【Abstract】 A great many of boundary demarcation results are the basis, relying on which province administrative　boundaries are managed and the disputes are resolved. It is therefore very important to establish a province administrative　boundary　database with which the demarcation results can be effectively managed and utilized. With respect to the structure of province administrative　boundary demarcation results and the application characteristics of boundary management, the paper　introduces in detail the digitalization of demarcation results, the design strategy of the province administrative　boundary database, and the database establishment and its quality control.
