【Abstract】 The main features of alkyl polyglucosides(APG),such as low irritation to human skin and eyes,good (biodegradability),low ecological toxicity and antibacterial capability etc.were briefly presented.APG can be used as main surfactant or co-surfactant in the formulations of various products such as cosmetics,laundry detergents,dishwashing (detergents,)food,plastics and pesticides to provide synergistic effect or inhibition of the irritation on human skin of other (surfactants.)The application of APG can be extended to other fields such as pharmaceutical manufacture and petroleum crude oil recovery enhancing.APG can be chemically processed to get various derivatives and thus the scope of application can be further expanded.更多还原
