扩展缩短码性能研究
Performance analysis on extended-shortened codes
【摘要】 提出了扩展缩短码的新概念,对扩展缩短码进行了深入的理论分析,并通过C++和MATLAB相结合的仿真方法,分析了扩展缩短码的最大最小距离、码重分布、不可检错误概率等方面的性能,对扩展缩短码和原缩短码性能的优劣进行了比较。仿真结果表明:当pe较小时,本原多项式生成的扩展缩短码性能较非本原多项式好;扩展缩短码和原缩短码具有相同的规律,码长越短,性能越好,码长越长,码率越高;扩展缩短码的码率大于原缩短码的码率。扩展缩短码是原缩短码理论的完善和补充。在某些要求码率较高但冗余度不变的通信设备中,扩展缩短码是较好的选择,目前扩展缩短码已经成功地应用到某些飞机通信设备中,取得良好效果。
【Abstract】 A detailed theory analysis is given to extended-shortened codes. Through combination of c++ and MATLAB, a comparison of performance between extended shortened codes and shortened codes is made on maximum and minimum distances, weight distribution,undetected error rate and so on. The result of simulation shows that extended-shortened codes have the same rules as the shortened codes. The shorter the code length, the better the performance. The larger the code length, the higher the code rates. The extended-shortened codes have a higher code rate than the shortened codes, and the extended shortened-codes are the supplement of the theory of the shortened codes. In some communication devices, extended-shortened codes are a better choice. Now the extended-shortened codes have already been used in some communication devices and have got better performance.
