The synthesis of 2-hydroxy-1,2-diphenylethanone under the condition of ultrasonic wave was introduced. The effect of ultrasonic power,ultrasonic time , pH, and the catalysis dosage on yield were studied. The results indicate that there is no product when ultrasonic power is under 80W. The yield increases with power goes up. The yield increases rapidly when the ultrasonic time extends and reaches by 47.4% after 25 minutes.
