虚拟现实中数字地面模型简化算法
SIMPLIFIED ALGORITHM OF DIGITAL TERRAIN MODEL IN VIRTUAL REALITY
【摘要】 在综合大量的模型简化算法基础上 ,提出针对数字地面模型的加权简化方法和非感兴趣区域简化设想 ,并通过VC + + 6 .0调用OpenGL图形函数库进一步验证 .实验表明该方法可以明显消除在普通微机上调入模型漫游时 2~ 5s的迟滞现象 ,并可对用户感兴趣信息不简化保留 .
【Abstract】 The simplification of Digital Terrain Model (DTM) is a key issue in VR technology. Based on synthesizing abundant model simplified algorithms, an assumption about the weighted simplification algorithm of DTM and the simplification of uninterested regions is proposed. In addition, the assumption is deeply proved by transferring the image functions stock through VC++6.0. The experiment indicates that the measure can avoid the phenomenon of 2-5 seconds delay when transferring models and roaming on the common computers, and simultaneously reserve the information that users are interested in without simplification.
