【Abstract】 In recent years,the US Department of Education supports a wide variety of programs aimed at promoting the quality of education,adjusting the posture of pupil development and advancing the Equality of Continuum Opportunity of Education.Gaining Early Awareness and Readin ess for Undergraduates Programs (GEAR UP)was one of them,which was created in 1998.The mission of GEAR UP is to signi ficantly increase the number of disadvantage students who are prepared to enter and study in postsecondary education.This paper tries to introduce the executive sum mary of GEAR UP and summarizes its features.更多还原
