【Abstract】 Objective To explore the guiding ideology, basic principles and basic thinking in the establishment of curriculum system and teaching contents of higher medical education based on the development of innovation abilities and thoughts. Methods In accordance with the needs of medical and social developments in the new century, the problems existing in higher medical education were analyzed, and the guiding ideology, basic principles and basic thinking of building up the curriculum system and teaching contents were clearly stated. Results To build up the curriculum system and teaching contents in higher medical education in the new century, the emphasis should be put on cultivating new ideas, the knowledge, ability and quality-oriented education of students, persisting in the models of training qualified , high-level medical personnel. Conclusion The new curriculum system and teaching contents of higher medical education is the key to assure the educational quality of higher medical education in the new century.更多还原
