【Abstract】 This paper reviews the efforts made byinternational society and some major countries for controllingPOPs and the implementation of the POPs Convention. Itsummarizes the key features of POPs convention and therelationships with other Conventions, analyzes thecharacteristics of the national action plans in the majorcountries.
