【Abstract】 Traditional translation theories often argue with each other in some translation paradoxes, ignoring the plurality of meaning. Emphasizing on one side of the binary oppositon will cause one-sideness. Proceeding from the plurality of meaning, the author discusses that the problems in translation are mainly problems of choice. Then the paper provides three factors that influence choice in translation -- translation aims, text types and reader’s types. Different translation norms should be established on the basis of them.更多还原
