【Abstract】 Mahatma Gandhi had made unique contribution to the independence of India,but like other chief leaders of the Indian National Congress and the Muslim League,he should be to some extent responsible for the partition of India and Pakistan,because he had played an important part in the growth of factors which accelerated the partition,such as Jinnah’s transformation from a nationalist to a communalist,the growth of the Muslim League,and not making use of his reputation and influence among the people to revert the trends of partition at the key moments.更多还原
