【Abstract】 The paper analyzed the concurrent research status of constraint based parametric design. And the ways of on-line and off-line parametric design were introduced respectively. Simultaneously, the advantages and disadvantages of each way were contrasted. A number of problems to be resolved in parametric design were narrated.
