基于位图的大规模地形景观生成技术研究
Research on Generation of Large-scale Landscape Using Bitmaps
【摘要】 方便、有效地建立地形模型及其纹理是地形景观研究的重点.通过采用基于位图建立地形景观的方法将位图中的灰度值与地形高程之间建立起映射关系,结合图像处理技术,自动创建出光滑的地形模型,并可自动生成能表现多种地表特征的纹理,最终生成效果逼真的地形景观.此方法简单、方便,可随心所欲地建立和修改地形景观,适用于游戏制作、虚拟场景的构建等领域.
【Abstract】 Landscape is very important in three dimension application. How to construct terrain models and their texture is a research keystone. By establishing mapping relation between grey value of bitmap and height of terrain, and combining technique of image processing, the method of constructing landscape using bitmaps can construct slick terrain model. In order to generate realistic landscape, the method can automatically build texture that can represent multi-characteristic of the earth’s surface. The method is simple and convenient and can construct and rework landscape at one’s will. The technique can be used in many fields, such as making games, constructing scene of virtual reality,etc.
