【Abstract】 This paper describes two new species of Fannia Robineau-Desvoidy,1830 from western region of Sichuan province during the years 1979-2000.One of them is named after Prof.Xu Rong-man.The type specimens are preserved in the Shanghai Institute of Entomology,Chinese Academy of Sciences,Shanghai,China. 1 Fannia xui sp.nov.(Figs.1-5) ♂:Body length 5.5 mm-6.0 mm.This new species is similar to Fannia huaxiia Feng et Xue,2000,but differs from the latter in following features:Eyes with covered hairs;femora dark black;hind tibia with posterodorsal bristle;apical part of submid-branch of cerci costricted suddenly. ♀:Unknown. Holotype ♂,Mt.Erlang (Forest Farm,2 760 m;29°54′N,102°08′E),Sichuan Prov.,17 May 1989,collected by Feng Yan;Paratypes 11♂♂,same locality,collector and date as holotype. 2 Fannia pterylitibia sp.nov.(Figs.6-9) ♂:Body length 5.0 mm.This new species is similar to Fannia submonilis Ma,1981,but differs from the latter in following features:Fore tibia without tuft of hair in ventral surface;Coxa of hind leg bare on posterior surface;Pra is 2 in number;hind tibia with av 13-14 on whole length. ♀:Unknown.
