【Abstract】 By analyzing the main character in The Heart of Darkness-Kurz, this paper aims to reveal the divided situation of Kurz′s subject and to point out that the "Other(A)" is the root of the division. Furthermore, the language of the novel reflects the division. Then the conclusion is drawn that the human beings are always in the hands of Phallus, which makes the freedom and liberation impossible.更多还原
