羟基丁酸对放射性脑损伤的保护作用

【摘要】 目的对γ-羟基丁酸钠联合放疗减少放射性脑损伤及其作用机理进行探讨研究。方法采用γ-羟基丁酸钠配合常规放疗对实验动物的脑损伤进行病理学观察,以Mistra肾上腺素自氧化法、Uchiyama试验分别测定SOD活力和LPO含量。结果γ-羟丁酸钠明显减少6MeVβ射线辐照后脑组织损伤,而且可提高SOD活力及减少LPO含量。结论γ-羟丁酸钠减少放射性脑组织损伤、缓解放疗反应,在提高脑胶质瘤放射治疗效果中发挥着重要作用。

【Abstract】 Objective The protective effects and pathophysiological mechanis m of sodium gammahydroxybutyrate (GHB) on rat brain tissues treated by photon rays were studied. Methods The rat brains were treated through GHB combined with 6 M ev 猓璸hoton rays, and Lipid peroxide (LPO) and Superoxide dismutase (SOD) were measured by Mistra′and Chiyama′tests. Results GHB could reduce obviously necr osis cell counts in CAI region of hippocampus. Meanwhile GHB enhance the activit ies of SOD and decreased the contents of LPO in the cerebrum after irradiation w ith 6 Mev 猓璸hoton rays too. Conclusion The results demonstrated that sodium g amma-hydroxybutyrate could play an important role in reducing the extent of rad iation damage of normal brain tissues and relieving the side effects of radiothe rapy on rats.
