【Abstract】 Vitamin E linoleate was prepared from vitamin E, linoleic acid and thionyl chloride. The crude ester mixture was purified by using silica gel (200~300 mesh) and petroleum ether (60~90℃) as eluent to give a viscous light yellow pure product (90.5% overall yield), which contained ≥97.0% ester and ≤3.0% free vitamin E.
