【Abstract】 By analyzing the shortage of strong coking coal in China and the necessity of efficient utilization of 1/3 coking coal, the paper argues that efficient utilization of 1/3 coking coal will benefit not only the mining area for the deep processing of coal and the prolongation of industrial chain, but also the whole country for the sustainable development of coking industry.
